One of the most affected sectors of the global economy by quarantine restrictions is tourism. Countries with a significant share of tourism in their economies have suffered the most. Egypt is one such country. It is not only people who have suffered from the covid restrictions there.
And the camel was very surprised because he was not wearing a mask. How do you explain to a man that everyone needs protection?!

The idea and aim of the mural in Warsaw, in my opinion, is to turn people’s attention to the difficult and sometimes heroic role of doctors in the fight for human lives — most people only see and appreciate this when they are confronted with an illness, get sick themselves or their loved ones fall ill.

I spent New Year’s Eve 2021 in the United States of America, in New York. I was very impressed by the masked Nutcrackers guarding the Christmas tree in Manhattan.

Illustration of events March 2020 — January 2022. This theme is particularly close to me, as I live in Kiev. Many people fought the pandemic not with drugs, social distance and self-isolation, but with traditional folk remedies, as depicted in this picture. A mask, was carried at all times, at least in a pocket, and social distance was maintained when necessary, especially if someone sneezed nearby. After the 24th of February, all of this was left in a past life…
The work was started just hours before the rocket attacks on my Motherland. This is the moment in which I captured the view of the peaceful sky outside my window of my home in Kiev. The moment when Rocket is a food delivery service. A moment when in the peaceful sky the winter lazy sun shines through the threatening February clouds, when every house is a full cup, and on the evening table of many families are the main enemies of all viruses among the usual products of an ordinary Ukrainian.
Work on the collection was interrupted due to the war that started in Ukraine…. I plan to paint at least 5 more paintings for this collection. I really hope that I will be able to realise my plans.

At some point of the pandemic, a lot of people have begun to realize the world and themselves in it differently, their place in cosmic evolution, the great importance and significance of religious norms and ethics and their thoughts and behaviour. I think that in order to direct the consciousness and thoughts of millions of people towards mercy and kindness, Japan has put a mask on the world’s largest statue of the Buddhist Goddess Kannon, the Goddess of Compassion and Mercy.

Fear has gripped the world. Fear in the eyes of all humanity — fear of sickness, fear of death, fear of being isolated, fear of losing someone. A huge world, a huge metropolis and this small creature that seems bigger than the whole world. I have tried to capture the sense of fear that millions of people around the world felt when the pandemic began. An intense fear and great dread settled in the minds of most of the world’s people with the onset of pandemic COVID 19. Many in the media called it the plague of the 21st century. The masked regime, social distancing and self-isolation have become the basis of everyone’s life. Without a mask is like without a passport. Who would have thought before that socialising during an epidemic is dangerous
