During the winter, every evening huge flocks of crows circle above the centre of Kiev, its highest point — Pechersk. After flying around a few times, they settle on trees and roofs and remain there until morning. Perhaps it is warmer for them to spend the night among people? In the morning, the birds wake up, and the morning berdstwitter begins, waking up the inhabitants of Pechersk. After a while, the birds fly away to go about their business and return again in the evening.
