Summer is coming to the end and, as always, it leaves us with many gifts — different vegetables, fruits and, of course, flowers. Sunflowers are my favourite summer flowers — very bright and beautiful, which lifts the mood. They are always looking at the sun, and the sun is reflected in them. That’s why each flower looks so much like a little sunshine. As Helen Keller wrote, — Hold your face to the sun and you can’t see the shade. That’s exactly what sunflowers do

It’s not ‘just a lot of water’ — it’s really a lot of water, a whole full-flowing river, wide and powerful, with clear blue water, framed by rocky banks with dense vegetation, then falling down a horseshoe-shaped precipice with a powerful waterfall, showing the majestic power of the water element. I was enraptured and so were my children. This trip will be remembered for a lifetime.

It’s a pity that it’s impossible to convey the smells in a painting. The smell of the forest, the smell of oaks cannot be compared to anything else. But I tried to convey the crystal clarity of the air with a light haze in the distance.
